Description

Construction Simulator puts you behind the controls of dump trucks, excavators and cranes on a building site, using a simplified, family friendly version of real machinery rather than any branded equipment. On desktop you drive with WASD or arrow keys, use Space for handbrake, and hit additional keys to switch between driving and operating modes so you can swing booms, extend arms, raise or lower buckets, and rotate crane hooks. On mobile you tap on-screen pedals to drive, tap or tilt to steer, and then switch to a separate control panel with sliders and buttons to control excavator arms or crane movement, plus big icons for camera angles and mission objectives. The goal is to complete jobs like digging foundations, pouring concrete, placing beams or delivering materials without tipping vehicles or spilling loads. Efficient play means moving slowly when loaded, using external camera views to line up crane hooks before lifting, planning paths so heavy trucks do not need to make sharp turns on soft ground, and following the job checklist so you do not need to redo steps. If controls seem unresponsive after an overlay, click or tap the canvas to refocus; if city sites stutter on older machines, lower shadow quality, traffic density and draw distance, and close background tabs; if touch sliders feel hard to hit, reset zoom to 100 percent, try full screen and see if a big UI toggle is available; and if job progress, unlocked vehicles or control preferences reset, verify that cookies and local storage are turned on so Construction Simulator can remember your career.
