On desktop you use the mouse to click tiles, right-click or use a key to flag suspected bombs, and rely on number counts that show how many bombs touch each revealed square; on mobile you tap a tile to reveal, long-tap or use a flag button to mark bombs, and pinch to zoom on larger boards. Think of it like a puzzle: start at edges, clear big safe zones first, use numbers to deduce which neighbors must be bombs, and only guess when the board leaves you no alternative. If clicks or taps don’t register, ensure you’re not paused and tap inside the puzzle area; if animations lag on older devices, disable fancy reveal effects and lower visual quality; if flags land on the wrong tile, reset zoom to 100% and use full screen so cells line up with your touch; and if difficulty unlocks or best times disappear between sessions, allow cookies and local storage so Skulls And Bombs can keep your puzzle streak.
