On desktop you walk with WASD or arrows, look around with the mouse, press E to interact with consoles and switches, and click to drag light mirrors, prism blocks or connectors into place; on mobile you use a virtual stick to move, swipe to control the camera, tap to interact, and drag puzzle elements with a fingertip on top-down boards. Your aim is to restore power to sections of the station by routing limited light or energy across nodes while reading logs that gradually explain what happened to Lyra and the crew. To progress, rotate mirrors so beams hit multiple targets, solve edge nodes first so the center becomes easier, take a photo or mental note of puzzle layouts before moving pieces, and read text clues: many solutions are hinted in diary fragments or terminal messages. If controls stop after a pause or overlay, tap or click inside the canvas to restore focus; if lighting effects stutter on weaker hardware, lower bloom and shadow quality and close other apps; if touch dragging feels off, reset zoom to 100 percent and try full screen; and if chapter unlocks, log collections or options reset, enable cookies and local storage so The Last Light Of Lyra can keep your story progress.
